Looked after well, your piece will stay with you for years. A few easy habits go a long way:
- A soft cloth, lightly dampened with water, is all a clean takes — skip solvents entirely.
- Give it room to breathe: an overpacked bag strains the seams, so lighten the load if the closure starts to resist.
- Keep perfumes, cosmetics, sanitiser and any alcohol- or solvent-based products at arm's length.
- Paler shades are the most delicate — be mindful of denim and other fabrics that can transfer their colour.
- Set it down gently; rough or abrasive surfaces are the quickest route to a scuff.
One reassurance: our leather is fully water-resistant. Where natural leather can stain or grow mould, yours simply shrugs off moisture.
